CKiD bedside Schwartz 2009:0.413×height/IDMS creatinine; mL/min/1.73m²; not CKiD U25
This is the 2009 bedside Schwartz equation, derived from 349 participants with chronic kidney disease in the CKiD study, whose recruitment eligibility was ages 1–16 years. Creatinine must be measured enzymatically and traceable to IDMS. The original study noted that further validation in children with higher kidney function was needed before using the formula to screen all children. The result is an estimate indexed to 1.73 m², not measured GFR, an isolated diagnosis or a medicine dose; it does not represent CKiD U25.
Conditions of use
Check the population, units, inclusion and exclusion criteria, and version in the original source. A result alone does not establish a diagnosis, discharge decision or prescription.

General context — relationship to be defined
A resource for general clinical contexts. This edition does not assign a specific oncological relationship; selecting it for a study requires a justified question, population and purpose.
