Method · Limits of application
SRQ-20/WHO; Brazilian Mari–Williams 1986:20 binary questions,0–20, cutoff≥8; item 17 alert
Screening for common mental disorders in primary care, followed by clinical assessment when indicated. The Brazilian study found performance differences by sex. A total does not replace a diagnostic interview; the recall window and cutoff must match the version and population studied.
Conditions of use
Check the population, units, inclusion and exclusion criteria, and version in the original source. A result alone does not establish a diagnosis, discharge decision or prescription.

A resource for general clinical contexts. This edition does not assign a specific oncological relationship; selecting it for a study requires a justified question, population and purpose.
