Method · Limits of application
WAI, 7 dimensions: final total 7–49; half points rounded up to the next integer (Tuomi 1998, institutional CHRODIS+ reproduction); Ilmarinen 2007 and Martinez 2009 references retained; original manual not read in full
The index assesses the worker’s perception in relation to the physical and mental demands of work, health and personal resources; it is not an automatic determination of incapacity. Attribute the source and clearly identify adaptations instead of presenting them as the original questionnaire. The consulted 2009 Brazilian study assessed workers at an electricity-sector company in São Paulo; it does not automatically validate every occupation or the nine local translations. The original manual and the complete equivalence of this interface’s items and weightings still require review. The final-rounding check uses page 4 of the institutional CHRODIS+ reproduction citing Tuomi 1998 and the table from the 2016 study of Finnish municipal employees. It does not approve clinical assignment of items, all rubrics, disability prognosis, management or professional translations. The unrounded sum remains available for audit, separately from the final score. This is the ELUCENIA adaptation of the method developed by the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health. The source permits research and use in an organization’s own operations, including commercial organizations, and identified adaptations with attribution. The WAI method itself may not be sold. Item equivalence and clinical and professional language review are not presumed.

General context — relationship to be defined
A resource for general clinical contexts. This edition does not assign a specific oncological relationship; selecting it for a study requires a justified question, population and purpose.
