ISUP consensus 2014/publication 2016: 5 groups, 3+4/4+3 distinction
Conversion into ISUP grade groups assumes correctly assigned Gleason patterns in prostate cancer histology; 3+4 is not equivalent to 4+3. The 2014 consensus does not recommend Gleason grading of intraductal carcinoma without invasive carcinoma. The calculator does not determine the patterns or replace pathological assessment.
Conditions of use
Check the population, units, inclusion and exclusion criteria, and version in the original source. A result alone does not establish a diagnosis, discharge decision or prescription.
Documented parameters
- Primary pattern (most extensive)
- Secondary pattern
5/5 reference cases checked. Numerical tests are not clinical validation.
Relationship with cancer research
Specific oncological application
Histological grouping of prostate carcinoma. It depends on a pathology report and does not diagnose from clinical data.
