Rockall score
Estimates mortality and rebleeding risk in upper gastrointestinal bleeding. Clinical factors (age, shock, comorbidities) give the pre-endoscopic score; adding diagnosis and stigmata gives the complete score.

Rockall 1996: pre-endoscopic 0–7 and complete 0–11; distinct from GBS
The 1996 Rockall was studied in people older than 16 years with acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding. The full version depends on the diagnosis and endoscopic stigmata; the pre-endoscopic version lacks that information. Stratification helps consider management but does not determine individual discharge safety or absence of rebleeding.
Conditions of use
Check the population, units, inclusion and exclusion criteria, and version in the original source. A result alone does not establish a diagnosis, discharge decision or prescription.

General context — relationship to be defined
A resource for general clinical contexts. This edition does not assign a specific oncological relationship; selecting it for a study requires a justified question, population and purpose.
