House–Brackmann 1985: 6 global grades I–VI, facial function and eye closure
The House–Brackmann scale presented here is a global classification from I to VI selected by the examiner; the tool does not measure movement or interpret photographs or videos. Record findings at rest and during movement, including eye closure and associated movements. Differences between regions and synkinesis may not be well represented by a single grade. This version is not the regional FNGS 2.0 system from 2009 and does not, on its own, determine the cause, treatment or individual prognosis of the paralysis.
Conditions of use
Check the population, units, inclusion and exclusion criteria, and version in the original source. A result alone does not establish a diagnosis, discharge decision or prescription.

Relationship with cancer research
General context — relationship to be defined
A resource for general clinical contexts. This edition does not assign a specific oncological relationship; selecting it for a study requires a justified question, population and purpose.
