Method · Limits of application
AUDIT: WHO, 2nd edition (2001); items 2 and 3 use a standard drink containing 10 g of ethanol; ELUCENIA interface translation.
A screening instrument for hazardous or harmful alcohol consumption, studied in primary care. The total alone does not establish dependence. In this implementation, items 2 and 3 use the WHO 2001 edition and a standard drink containing 10 g of ethanol; consumption must be converted to this reference. National serving sizes are not automatically equivalent. The wording and population adaptations in each language require independent review.
Conditions of use
Check the population, units, inclusion and exclusion criteria, and version in the original source. A result alone does not establish a diagnosis, discharge decision or prescription.

General context — relationship to be defined
A resource for general clinical contexts. This edition does not assign a specific oncological relationship; selecting it for a study requires a justified question, population and purpose.
